| Lately I've been fascinated by these clocks that continue to be wildly popular in Japan and occasionally make their way to other countries like America. There's two kinds, specifically: melody clocks (ones that just play music) and karakuri clocks (ones thats move while playing music). I've noticed though that they haven't been well documented and whatever info I can find about them are scattered around the Internet. So I thought, "why not", and made this page to not only show off the clocks of ages but to also provide audio samples of their songs whenever possible. |
